This is my photography blog. I am focusing on emotional contrast. I am trying to design my images to show a conflict. Sometimes its a conflict between nature and things man has made, sometimes its other things.

Most will look at this and think, " pile of rubble, so what ".  Me, I love the composition.  All the different textures, shapes, shadows, materials, etc.  However, the most intriguing thing is wondering about the stories each piece could tell if they could tell their own stories.  Where has that tire been? Who might it have taken somewhere and what has it seen?  The stones and brick were once a wall and the metal frame twisted up among them was once a frame of a door.  What have they kept out?  Civil war era raiders?  World War era saboteurs?  Yes, it is just a pile of rubble, but a terribly interesting pile of rubble if we could only know its story.  Its kind of like old people and young people in my mind.  Usually young people don't want to take the time to listen and learn from the stories the elderly can share, but if you take a little time, ask questions and listen, the things you can learn are invaluable and deeply interesting.
